Devon in April was always a risk, but boy did it pay off.
The elegant surroundings of the Saunton Sands Hotel proved for Lauren & James that there is no better place to exchange vows than by the British seaside. The whiter-than-white hotel walls sent the suntans into overdrive before a vow had been uttered or a cork popped, and the stunning hilltop view and access to the beach was truly irresistible.
The bride got practical with her footwear, and since James and Lauren have a toddler, it was only a matter of time before sand was between toes.
The sun was tour de force over the bay, sending the group photos into squint mode, but what the heck….noone could deny that the bride and groom deserved an epic day for their epic day.
The ceremony, thankfully, was conducted indoors, and emotions ran high as Lauren arrived with her dad, clutching her simple and stylish all-white bouquet of roses and gypsophila.
There's little doubt that there would have been plenty of sand in the bride's shoes when the sun went down. Heck, even the cake was a sandcastle!
