This shoot was easy to sum up.
1. A beautiful winter day, speckled with the occasional flutter of snow;
2. A perfect setting (thanks to the incredible National Trust's Fountain's Abbey), and
3. Sticks. Lots of sticks; carefully curated by two small boys who were steadfast in their determination to NEVER put them down.
This really is a fantastic place. The ruins are open for the kids to play in - it is a labyrinth of secret doorways and crumbly walls, seemingly created to delight the youngsters, regardless of gender.
Best of all? The most perfect canine face.
